In addition to embroidery, Queensboro offers "Direct To Garment" Digital and Screen Printing.
Screen printing is one of the most popular methods to create custom tees. With vibrant colors and full size prints we can make your logo shine on any shirt. Screen printing is especially perfect for larger orders with discounted prices based on the quantities you need. Our screen print section has a variety of styles all with a standard 48 piece minimum order.
Digital printing is similar to screen printing; but with a computer and special printer instead. We can print photos, logos, and pretty much any image you'd like as long as its resolution is high enough. And unlike screen printing's higher minimum order, with Queensboro's digital printed apparel you only need to purchase four printed shirts, and at a super competitive price!
A. The artwork you submit to us must meet these requirements:
A. Yes, with digital print we can print detailed images such as photos as long as it meets the minimum resolution (see above).
A. If your original file that was uploaded for embroidery has a resolution of at least 150 DPI it will be free. However, if the original file that was uploaded for embroidery is not a high enough resolution we can recreate your artwork for a one time fee of $20. This will allow you to order any of our digital print apparel and have your logo printed at any size.
A. When ordering printed apparel you will have the option of three different location for your logo. You can choose either left chest at 4X4 inches, full front at 11 X 10.9 inches, or full back at 11 X 10.9 inches. However, logos are sized proportionately when printing so the maximum sizes may vary per logo. If you have special needs, please contact us.
A. Yes, you can choose to have your logo printed in two locations such as left chest and full back for an additional fee. For all digitally printed items the second logo location will add $2.50 per item. However, screen printed items the second logo location price will be based on the number of items ordered and is included with the pricing information on each style page.
A. Yes. We are able to print on all color fabrics.
A. For different fabric colors the white elements of your logo will print differently:
A. Both screen print and digital print use a different process, that is able to print white ink, for dark fabric items. An additional layer of white ink must be printed on the shirts before the color ink is printed. This insures that the colors will be vivid and saturated on dark items. Since more ink and time is used to produce these shirts, the price for dark print items is generally higher than light print items.
A. Not at this time. However, you can of course place separate orders for embroidered shirts and printed shirts.
A. Digital printing is a very specific process which requires apparel especially designed for direct to garment printing. While embroidery can be done on a large variety of materials, digital print can only be done on cotton fabrics. Some of our most popular items for embroidery will not work for digital printing due to the fabric content, texture and ornamentation such as buttons or zippers. You will find our complete line of items available for digital printing under our Printed Apparel categories.
